MambaBuy charges itemised, each with its help article
Fees, exchange rate, payment charges, extras, coupons and membership discounts, each with the help article it came from and the date we read it.
The fee structure for orders you place yourself
MambaBuy's Service and Fees article puts the total as item cost plus international shipping fee plus duty. Item cost covers the listing price and the seller's own postage into MambaBuy's warehouse, which drops to zero on free-shipping listings. There is no purchasing service fee and no handling fee on self-placed website orders; value-added services are charged only when you ask for them.
Two charges sit outside that formula and are easy to forget: the payment fee on card or PayPal top-ups, and the manual order fee if a staff member types in your order. Duties apply only on lines that do not include them.
Yuan in the wallet, dollars on the screen
MambaBuy prices everything in yuan and lets you display another currency. The display rates its system served on 21 October 2026 were 1 CNY = 0.1618 USD, 0.1440 EUR and 0.1213 GBP. Your wallet balance is held in CNY. For bank transfers, the top-up article spells out the conversion: the amount received times MambaBuy's exchange rate on the day the money arrives is what lands in your balance.
So a USD 100 transfer becomes about CNY 618 at that rate, less anything your own bank deducts. Card and PayPal top-ups add their own percentage on top, covered next.
Three official answers on payment methods
This is MambaBuy's most confusing topic, so here are the three versions word for word in substance. Article 7045 says MambaBuy supports two methods, PayPal and Alipay. PayPal can be paid on the site or to an account staff send you; Alipay payers write their DC user ID in the remark; in both cases you send a screenshot and staff credit the wallet. The top-up article 6479 lists bank transfer with no MambaBuy fee and one to three business days, cards (VISA, Mastercard, Discover) at 5% plus $0.30 per transaction, and PayPal at 3.7% plus $0.30. The notice of 8 September 2026 says the Alipay channel, briefly suspended for risk control, is back, and lists Alipay, PayPal and account balance.
Our reading: the checkout counter you see on the day is the truth. Expect a fee on card and PayPal, none from MambaBuy on bank transfer, and keep screenshots of every manual payment.

Everything below is optional and is chosen either when you order (photos, video) or when you submit a parcel (packing services, protection). Prices are in yuan, from the help articles read on 21 October 2026.

Coupons and the welcome pack
New accounts get twenty international-shipping coupons with a total face value of CN¥2,990, credited automatically after email verification and valid for 180 days, one pack per user. They are threshold coupons, from CN¥35 off freight over CN¥299 up to CN¥500 off freight over CN¥4,000, so a small first parcel uses only the smallest ones. Enter the code at freight checkout.
Points are separate: 100 for registering, 30 to 100 for a review after delivery, and 1 for every CN¥100 topped up. Points can pay up to 10% of a parcel's final settlement and expire after a year.
Membership discounts on freight
Every account starts at VIP0. Growth value accrues at 0.5 per yuan of international freight, counted after the parcel is signed for, and never expires. The discount on freight starts at 1% at VIP1 (2,000 growth, so about CN¥4,000 of freight) and reaches 8% at VIP6 (60,000 growth). The discount applies automatically at checkout. Refunded or abnormal parcels have their growth value taken back.
Storage that stops being free
Free storage lasts ninety days from Stored. After that MambaBuy charges CN¥10 per order record (the TG number) for each further thirty days, and after 180 days without a shipping request the goods are treated as abandoned and become MambaBuy's property. If you buy across several weeks to fill one parcel, note the Stored date of the first item, not the last.
