MambaBuy carriers, billed kilograms and customs
Line prices for ten destinations from MambaBuy's own estimator, how chargeable weight is worked out, which lines include tax, and when parcels leave the warehouse.
Lines we saw for ten destinations
We asked MambaBuy's freight estimator for a one-kilogram parcel to ten countries on 21 October 2026. The table keeps the cheapest line and the dearest for each, with the transit time MambaBuy quotes for the cheapest. The home page claims more than a hundred shipping options in total; for any one country the estimator returned between one and seven.
Every UK line from Royal Mail and every DHL and DPD line to Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Italy that we saw carried the label Tax & Duty included, apart from the three UK DPD lines. North America and Australia were served by EMS and postal lines without that label.

Which kilogram gets billed
MambaBuy's help multiplies the three carton sides in centimetres and divides the product by a carrier-set divisor (the article names 8000, 7000, 6000 and 5000), and the bill follows the heavier of the two figures, computed or weighed. The freight data shows which divisor each line uses: 8000 for the Royal Mail, DHL and DPD lines to the UK and Europe and for the Canadian line, 6000 for the EMS lines, and no volumetric rule on the China Post SAL line to Australia.
The tariff data steps most lines in half-kilogram increments, so a parcel weighing 1.1 kg is charged at the 1.5 kg price on our reading. Single boxes are capped at 20 kg on the Royal Mail lines and 30 kg on most others, and some lines refuse very light parcels: the DHL TK01 and EC02 lines start at 500 g.

Using MambaBuy's own estimator
On a computer, click Estimation in the top bar (the current site labels it Shipping Fee Estimation). Enter the destination, the parcel's weight and its length, width and height, and optionally the item properties. On a phone, open Mine and choose Shipping cost estimate at the bottom. The result lists every line that accepts that parcel, with price and transit time.
Two warnings from MambaBuy itself: the final charge uses the dimensions and weight after packing, with small adjustments for packing material; and restricted goods hide some lines automatically. If you want to try numbers before you have a parcel, the shipping calculator on our tools page uses the same tariffs.

Tax-included lines and customs
On a tax-free line, MambaBuy works with the carrier on a single declaration and clearance, and you may be asked for documents only in special cases. On every other line, duties, taxes and clearance fees are yours, and customs may contact you directly for invoices. MambaBuy's clearance article adds a detail that matters at that moment: it can provide only screenshots of the payment, not invoices or receipts.
For the EU, a flat customs duty of EUR 3 per product category came into force on 1 July 2026. MambaBuy's notice of 14 July 2026 says its consolidated EU parcels are temporarily exempt through its logistics channels, and that it will announce the end of the exemption in advance.
Parcels can be checked twice: a first clearance on arrival and sometimes a second, local one. Shipping Protection covers seizure at the first clearance only, and not at all on EMS lines.

When parcels leave the warehouse
Parcels whose freight is paid before 17:00 China Standard Time leave the same day; later ones go the next working day. Sunday is MambaBuy's rest day. Around Chinese holidays the warehouse publishes earlier cut-offs: before the 2026 Spring Festival, for example, packing requests had to be in by 18:00 on 11 February, and the DHL-JY02, DHL-TM03, DPD-JY02, UK-DPD-JY02, UK-DPD-TM03, RM03-JY and RM04-PF lines closed even earlier, on 9 February.
Transit time is counted from the moment the status reads Shipped. MambaBuy describes the chain as packing, carrier pick-up, security check, waiting for a flight, the flight itself (possibly with transit), the airport processing centre, customs, hand-over to the local carrier and delivery.

Tracking after dispatch
Tracking sits under Parcel, Order Details. The phone screens below show a test parcel's history: order created, packed in the warehouse, payment received, shipped, all within one afternoon. Updates from the international carrier come later and in bursts, because the parcel changes hands several times.
If a parcel comes back because of a failed security check, an unknown address, a refused delivery or nobody signing, MambaBuy's returns article says the redelivery fee is yours.
